Here is a picture Claire sent to me of her Stained Glass Scarf. My original designed used Red Heart Yarns Unforgettable; Claire used an 8-ply cotton/acrylic blend with a starting chain of 32. She wanted to make a lighter version for her European Holiday. Isn't it lovely? Claire says " I like the pattern. It was very easy to do once I mastered it." Thank you Claire for the beautiful picture, I hope you have a great time on holiday.
Claire has made several more Stained Glass Scarves!! The one shown to the left is done in a lighter weight yarn Claire says of "mixed greys to beige a cotton/acrylic blend, beautifully soft; I started with 42 chain and decided to make it into an infinity scarf as I enjoy wearing them."
The second scarf shown is made of a "cotton with a silver thread running through it. This is the summer scarf I was aiming for. I started with 22 chain for this one."
As you can see in Claire's photo's this scarf pattern is very versatile and can be made of any material and yarn weight, by adjusting her starting chain Claire has customized this pattern to suit her taste's and need's.
