My last post I showed you the shawl I made for the Summer Shawl Swap 2017 hosted by Crochet Creations by Leah. You can find her on Instagram @crochetcreationsbyleah or in her Etsy shop at Crochet Creations by Leah. Pop in and see what she's got for sale!!
Today I am showing you the beautiful shawl that showed up on my doorstep Monday. It is called Murcia and you can find the free pattern on Ravelry. Want to see more lovely creations? Search #Summershawlswap2017 in Instagram.
The summer shawl swap works the same as a Secret Santa. I really enjoyed shopping and making a gift for someone else. I was a bit nervous at first, wondering rather my person would like what I made, but I put on my big girl panties and shipped it out!! I will let you know what she thinks when I hear from her.
The young lady that made my lovely shawl is Tiffany. She too, has an Etsy shop. You can check out her shop at The Project Bag. She sews, you guessed it, project bags!! She has some really cute items and great reviews. As part of the swap Tiffany has generously given my one of her notions bags, it is very well made and perfect for hooks, snips and stitch markers. I already have it tucked into one of my bags to keep all of my "to go" hooks ready! She also spoiled me with some beautiful yarn from Knit Picks along with some stitch markers and some really yummy lotion.
Have you ever done a craft swap? This was my first one, Leah is going to hosting another in the Fall and I am already signed up!! What did you swap? Let me know in the comments, until then, happy crafting my friends.
